Solo trip kayaking at Lonestar Lakes Park. Launched into Chuckatuck Creek near the breech at Crane Lake boat ramp.

Observations

Heard calls of Corvus ossifargus from trees on creek bank opposit of the Crane Lake Breech. Latter a second group flew past my kayak as I paddled back up stream from the 1st duck

blind east of the breech.

Haliaeetus leucocephalus was seen soaring above creek ~ 15m from the same duck blind where the flock of Corcus ossifargus flew by. It made several circles of the creek before flying over my kayak. I was roughly 5m from the duck blind and got a single short video of the H. leucocephalus.

Filled several short videos of the autumn folliage and geitation on the banks of Chuckatuck Creek.

Personal Thoughts

A green ground cover plant growing on the steep slope of Chuckatuck Creek
Figure. 1

Who owns the stake /license on the duck blind?

Will state regulation allow me to use the duck blind to observe birds if I have permission from blind owner?

What is the green plant growing on the bank slope?  (Fig. 1)
