Work & Observations
Didn't do a lot with the plants today but did brick in the majority of the garden's perimeter. This allowed me to start pulling out the wood frames from some of the beds. I used this scrap wood to build a compost bin by the garden shed.
I also dug in between beds 3 and 4 to make one large bed. Then I pulled up the irrigation line from last summer.
Even though I didn't work the plants I still got a lot of work done. Saw a small flock of Canada Geese flying north. Between that, the blueberry bushes, and flower bulbs I don't think this winter will get much colder. The Farmers Almanac says it is going to be a wet and mild winter for Virginia.
