Sandy joined the group in 2021 after escaping from the San Diego Zoo during Chris' trip to Southern California. As the story goes, Chris had told her all how he was missing his step daughter who wasn't on the trip with him. Sandy got so excited at the idea of being a little part of her that he could take on his adventures when she couldn't join that she convinced him to take her home with him.

The two hatched a daring escape plan to break her out of the San Diego Zoo, and after a couple close calls with Security and one "spicey" Zoo Keep she was free. Now she Joins Chris on the majority of his adventures posing for photos to send home, or being squeezed and snuggled by the kiddo when she joins the adventures.
